Regional Communities of Practice
Our Regional Community Convenors lead Regional Communities of Practice, which are at the heart of Connecting Climate Minds. They are all about just that - connecting people across countries, disciplines, sectors and experiences. They will all bring their unique insights to a thriving community of practice in climate change and mental health research, that is deeply connected to and engaging with lived experience needs, and linking out to policy and practice.
Community Structure
The Regional Community team, who will bring together expertise and networks across countries in the region, is made up of:
Regional Community Convenor (RCC)
Co-Convenors
Lived Experience Advisory Group members
Youth Ambassadors
Get involved with your Regional
Community of Practice
As Connecting Climate Minds develops, there will be the opportunity to join your local Regional Community, to attend trainings, seminars, share resources and learn from each other! You will have the opportunity to find people to work with, for example whether you are a public health expert wanting to connect with climate experts to understand what the threats are to your region and research how to address them to protect mental health of vulnerable groups, a health economist wanting to quantify what the mental health co-benefits of climate action would be, or someone with your own lived experiences of mental health challenges in the context of climate change wanting to be involved in co-produced research.
Connecting Climate Minds Hub
Join our new digital platform, designed to unite the fields of mental health and climate change. The hub aims to foster understanding, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and drive impactful action, all while providing a supportive community for those dedicated to these critical issues.
